About the Principal
Sonja is a licensed architect with the Ontario Association of Architects. She earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto and has worked in boutique and medium-sized architectural firms on projects ranging from residential homes to restaurants, retail spaces, and institutional buildings. Before studying architecture, Sonja gained experience in art direction and set design in Toronto and Los Angeles, bringing a creative, multidisciplinary perspective to her work.
Her diverse background has equipped her with a broad range of techniques and problem-solving approaches, and instilled an appreciation for the holistic nature of architecture. A certified Passive House designer, Sonja is committed to energy-efficient, enduring buildings and the use of materials and methods that support healthy and sustainable spaces.
Sonja values creativity, craftsmanship, and meaningful client relationships. She is involved in every step of the design and construction process, ensuring clients are well-informed and supported throughout the journey, and strives to make a positive impact through her designs.
